Tim has over 15 years of community arts and music experience. Tim is responsible for the strategy and overall management of the organisation. Previously Tim worked across Shropshire as a community video and animation practitioner and also co-ordinated an Arts Council England funded West Midlands tour of digital media. In 2013 Tim was elected as Trustee of Music Mark. In 2015, he was awarded a fellowship to The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.
John has 15 years of experience in young peoples, culture and media sectors. He has fundraised and project managed at a variety of levels. John is also a keen musician and has been involved with Make Some Noise for over 5 years both as a partner when working with the Stoke Youth Service or as a musician delivering Musical Inclusion projects. John is responsible for the development, fundraising and management of the project areas that support diversionary activities outside of school hours and children disengaged from mainstream education.
Cat has 10 years of experience in the charity sector working with vulnerable members of the community. Cat brings her knowledge and experience of developing partnerships with Social Care and Health Services, Housing Associations, Voluntary Support Services and Primary Schools across Staffordshire. Cat is responsible for the development, fundraising and management of the project areas that support the early years child development and children disengaged from mainstream education.
Helen joined Make Some Noise in January 2012 and is responsible for monitoring finances, policies and office procedures. Helen worked as an Office Manager for the NSPCC for 8 years has worked in a variety of office environments before then such as Citizens Advice bureaubefore joining Make Some Noise.
Dawn joined Make Some Noise in April 2017 and is responsible for supporting the team with administrative procedures. Dawn has extensive experience in office work, most recently with CRC (Formally Staffs & West Midlands Probation Service) for 12 years. Dawn also works in a local primary after school club in Stafford.
As Musical Inclusion Officer, Samantha's role is a shared post supporting the key organisations in the Musical Communities consortium. Samantha has been involved with Make Some Noise since 2005 as a participant, since then Samantha has volunteered on multiple projects and trained to become one of our Musicleaders. She has continued her career by gaining the Musical Inclusions Officer post with Telford & Wrekin Council where she now co-ordinates the Musical Communities programme working in partnership with ourselves, 3 Music Education Hubs and The Hive.
