Christina Coker OBE to visit Sonic db participants



Youth Music CEO Christina Coker will be visiting some of the young people who have taken part in the Sonic db music programme at Swinfen Hall Youth Offenders Institute in Lichfield. Christina will be accompanied by Zoe Briance from the Centre for Social Justice and they will be attending an Arts Award moderation session as well as talking to the young people about the positive impact that the Sonic db programme has had on their lives. Sonic [db] is a unique music technology and music industry project taking place in Youth Offending Institutions across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent. Staffordshire Arts and Museum Service and Make Some Noise set up Sonic [db] with additional help from Arts Council England, West Midlands. Youth Music is the UK's largest children's music charity providing funding for music projects and activities and Make Some Noise is one of 22 Youth Music Action Zones in areas of social and economic need across England and Wales.
