Each year over 450 young children attend these weekly sessions and over 1000 parents, families and members of the community attend the bi-annual performances at The Victoria Hall.
"The City Songbirds have their own tie that all children wear during their public performances subsidised by Stoke-on-Trent City Music and Performing Arts Service. One Mum asked to buy one, to which she was informed that there is no need as the school PTA had already bought one for each child. She then told me that she wanted to buy another one to frame at home as she was so proud." Sue Hallam, Head of Stoke-on-Trent City Music and Performing Arts Service.
City Songbirds is a Make Some Noise project in partnership with and delivered by Stoke-on-Trent City Music and Performing Arts Service.
