National Sing Up Day hits high notes!

Wednesday 24th February was National Sing Up Day, and primary schools and choirs across the country celebrated by singing their way through their daily routines.

The theme of the day was ‘Spread a Little Singing’ and over two hundred events took place across the country which included activities such as singing assemblies, lunchtime choirs and signing the register.

As a dedicated singing school and part of the Burton Sing Up community, Holy Trinity School in Burton held a lunchtime choir to mark the day.

Sing Up is the Music Manifesto’s National Singing Programme and aims to place singing at the heart of every child’s life. Sing Up believes singing can change lives and build stronger communities
