Tim Sharp, Chief Executive Officer for Make Some Noise said: “Staffordshire has a wealth of musical talent and we are delighted to be taking part in the Power Tour once again. We have teamed up with the Sugarmill and would like to thank them for kindly hosting this year’s event in Stoke-on-Trent. This event provides aspiring, but shy and nervous musicians the opportunity to take centre stage and perform to a supportive live audience, sometimes for the very first time. We hope that people will come along and support the event and are appealing to anyone who enjoys live music or those who like us, believe that music inspires young people to come and hear some of the up and coming musical talent this county has”.

Dan Nixon from the Sugarmill added: “We are really pleased to back a charity like Make Some Noise with their Power Tour. To be able to play a part in empowering young musicians and help provide them with professional performing experiences is very rewarding for us. We actively promote the local band scene and also try and bring some of the bigger names back to the city, so these young musicians can feel proud that they will share the stage of bands such as Coldplay, Trivium and Muse. We’re urging everyone to get behind this fundraising event as much as possible”.
