Ready Settings Go aims to create an environment for children to develop basic motor, communication and awareness skills by integrating music into their environment.

 

Features:
   

·          Regular weekly sessions are run over 6 months.

·          Experienced early years Make Some Noise music leaders work with practitioners in a child care setting.

·          Trainee practitioners spend time away from their setting throughout the programme for reflection.

·          Support from a national network of professional partners, including Dr Susan Young, a senior lecturer at Exeter University and a specialist in early childhood, music, arts and creativity.

 

  Benefits:
   

·          Helps children to develop basic motor, communication and awareness skills.

·          Regardless of experience or confidence, settings increase the appreciation of the value of these music activities when the music leaders are not present.
