The purpose of this mapping exercise is to identify existing rock and pop provisions in formal and non-formal settings for children and young people in Staffordshire, and to make recommendations for growing a mutually supportive network for rock and pop providers that ultimately improves the outcomes for the children and young people they serve.

The research has been commissioned by The North-West Midlands Music Education Hub (NWMMEH), a partnership of high-quality music organisations funded by the Department for Education through Arts Council England. Key stakeholders are Entrust Music Service Staffordshire, City Music Service Stoke-on-Trent, Telford and Wrekin Music, Make Some Noise, Lichfield Cathedral Music Share, Manchester Camerata and Charanga.

All deliver against the National Plan for Music Education in Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Telford and Wrekin.
