Our SoundProof programme delivers Bronze Level 1 Arts Award accredited music sessions using creative music technology.
Features:

Variety of year long sessions and intensive short term residences.

Sessions are run for young people aged 11 to 18 in Pupil Referral Units, Children in Care Units and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Pre-16 N.E.E.T).

Participants are supported by an experienced music leader.
·
Access is provided to high quality creative music technology.
·
Bronze Level Arts Award accreditation.
·
Tangible outcomes, such as CD’s and Arts Award folders.
·
The SoundProof programme provides engaging and creative music activities for young people who face multiple challenges for example self-harm, eating disorders and educational under-achievement.

Participants produce highly respected music tracks.
·
Young people learn to express themselves through writing lyrics.
·
Increases the confidence and self esteem of the participants.
·
Bronze Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification that assesses not only creative ability, but also IT, communication, team working and problem solving skills.

SoundProof leaves a legacy of musical creativity and opportunity by enabling staff to carry on the programme with the young people after the sessions or residency.
·
SoundProof has been a success with the C.E.D.A.R.S. PRU bases; Biddulph, Darwin, Orme & Wolstanton, the Staffordshire County Council Children in Care Units and the Abbey Hulton Child and Adolescent Mental Health Clinic
