·          The Sonic [db] training package is tailored for each Young Offending Institute. The packages include elements such as music production software, sound recording, DJ skills and music industry awareness.

·          Sonic [db] has worked in HMPYOI Swinfen Hall, HMPYOI Brinsford, HMPYOI Drake Hall and HMPYOI Werrington.

·          Offers a creative method of increasing confidence, self-esteem, teamwork and problem solving.

·          Gives young offenders an opportunity to refocus their energy.

·          Provides a variety of opportunities within the industry, ranging from music composition and performance to production and management.

·          Through this two year project, young offenders are involved are gaining creative, technical and industry skills which will be relevant to them "on the out".
