The Early Years Music Project in Stoke on Trent aims to raise awareness of the positive impact that music has in an early years setting. Make Some Noise works in partnership with The City Music & Performing Arts Service and Stoke-on-Trent Early Years Team, and is committed to the development of music making for 0 – 5 year olds and their teachers / practitioners in the Stoke on Trent area.

Features:

·          The programme has been successful, running since 2007.

·          Up to eight settings are selected annually based on early years clusters in Stoke on Trent.

·          Includes a combination Private Day Nurseries, Special Schools and LA Primary schools working with Foundation Stage children.

Benefits:

·          Provides weekly music making opportunities for 0 – 5 year olds.

·          Helps teachers and practitioners to deliver music making confidently in their own settings.
