Kristy studies creative expressive arts therapy BA honours and has worked with Derby Children’s Hospital supporting young people with special needs, mental health and physical needs. Helping them to use creativity as a positive outlet via dance, music, drama and art.

She has worked as with a variety of nurseries and is a qualified child care worker. She is also a qualified dance teacher with the ISTD and RAD accreditations.

Throughout these roles, Kristy has developed her skills as a health and wellbeing specialist advisor using motivational techniques such as cognitive behaviour therapies.

Kristy is a dance performance artist, which helps to inspire and support her work as a Music Leader for Make Some Noise.

“I take great pleasure in working with the young parents group in Stoke, using my therapeutic and child development skills to encourage positive development and bonding between parents and babies, using music, dance, baby massage, baby yoga and the arts to encourage this.”
